Jake's Steakhouse East Meadow, N.Y.

Jake's Steakhouse located at 2172 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow is a nice place to have lunch or a nice dinner. They are a little pricey but the food is good and so is the service. It was a little crowded so we ended up sitting at the bar. We ordered the Jake's Grill Burger. It was really good. It was a beef burger served on an english muffin. ( just like our mom used to make ) Toppings were 50 cents extra. So we just order cheddar cheese. The burger came out like we like it. The fries that came with our meal were seasoned nicely and tasted really good. Coleslaw was nice did not have much of a vinegar taste to it. Very much like homemade. We also loved their pickles.

The cost was $10.95. Even though it was crowded for lunch, it was very quiet as this isn't a place to bring your kids like let's say Friendly's. All in all this was a great burger. We would definitely eat here again.

We had lunch here. Service wasn't too bad. But like usual it was noisy. Do not expect to have a quiet time here. They do have a lot of items on the menu, which made our choices kinda hard so we had what was like a sample platter.

Chicken quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, and loaded waffle fries. Everything came out warm. They were served with marinara, salsa and sour cream for dipping.  I think this is a limited time deal. It was $9.99.

No this wasn't the healthiest thing on the menu to eat. But it was pretty good.
